Rules are not only important to the moral fiber of a community, but are also crucial to keep the members of that community safe. That being said, it will be required for every potential member to read these rules before even thinking of clicking the "register" button. A password will be added in a new character's bio later if necessary.

No New Posts ⋅ the land of fire ⋅

The Land of Fire is one of the largest and most powerful countries in Shinobi history. Its government leader is the Fire Daimyō. The Land of Fire was the first country to adopt a ninja village, Konohagakure, a custom other countries would soon adopt. The Land of Fire is appropriately oriented towards the element of fire, typically having very bright and warm weather. While not the physically largest country, it has the largest hidden village.
The Land of Fire has been involved in wars with the Land of Lightning, the Land of Earth, and the Land of Wind. In the quiet years that followed, the Land of Fire slowly recovered, and became accustomed to peace. On the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Sound sits the Valley of the End, a large rift formed shortly after the founding of Konohagakure by the First Hokage and Madara Uchiha.

The Land of Wind is one of the more prominent countries in the series. It is located to the south-west of the Land of Fire and borders the Land of Rivers and the Land of Rain. Its government leader is the Wind Daimyō. The country covers a vast realm, but that realm is largely composed of deserts. Because there is very little rainfall throughout the year, the people of the country live in villages built on one of the desert's many oases. Despite the country's extremely harsh environment, it has a large population. Although they have warred with each other in the past, the Land of Wind is on good terms with the Land of Fire, with a great deal of trade going on between the two countries.

No New Posts ⋅ the land of lightning ⋅

The Land of Lightning is located on a peninsula north-east of the Land of Fire and is one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries. Its government leader is the Lightning Daimyō. In the center of the country are vast mountain ranges, whose many thunderstorms are said to give the country its name. From these mountain ranges, many rivers flow to the sea, creating a very crooked coastline that displays an impressive oceanic beauty. There are many hot springs located within the country.

No New Posts ⋅ the land of water ⋅

The Land of Water is oriented towards the element of water. Its government leader is the Water Daimyō. It is composed of many islands, with each having its own unique traditions. The country's weather is typically cool and full of mist and lakes -- in some places it is very cold and snows quite a bit. Little is currently known about it and it apparently leaves itself out of most political affairs, which is understandable considering that it is composed of vast islands relatively remote from the continent containing the other four major countries. What is known, however, is that the country used to be ravaged by many civil wars, during which clans with Kekkei Genkai were used extensively, causing many to view them as harbingers of war and death, leading to purges and genocide to the point of parents killing their own children.

No New Posts ⋅ the land of sound ⋅

The Land of Sound is a neighbor country of the Land of Fire. It is a relatively new country in the political scene, though it has existed for some time under the name of the Land of Rice Fields. Orochimaru conquered the country and convinced its daimyō to let him establish his own ninja village. Otogakure [ called Oto for short ] was Orochimaru's personal village, founded for the express purpose of collecting ninja for his experiments and his quest to learn all jutsu. In actuality, Oto is not really a village, but a group of hideouts and bases scattered throughout the Land of Sound and other countries.

No New Posts ⋅ the land of earth ⋅

The Land of Earth is located north-west of the Land of Fire -- its government leader is the Earth Daimyō. The country is mostly comprised of desolate, rocky areas. The border of the Land of Earth runs along a rocky mountain range, blocking communication with other countries. The wind blowing from the north passes over these mountains, carrying small rocks from the Land of Earth to the surrounding countries. This famous natural phenomenon is called "Rock Rain."

No New Posts ⋅ the land of waves ⋅

The Land of Waves is a nation located on an island near the Land of Fire; and, because it does not have a hidden village, it has to rely on seeking assistance from other Hidden Villages like Konohagakure. The Land of Waves has many rivers running through it and is famous for its mangroves, which are filled with all kinds of lifeforms. Though an isolated island, relying on shipping for commerce and trade, it was prosperous.

No New Posts ⋅ the land of iron ⋅

The Land of Iron is an icy, snow-covered country. It is politically unusual in that it has remained neutral and never been involved in the ninja wars. In fact, the Shinobi have a rule since long ago that they would not meddle with the land. Despite this, it is said to have an incredibly strong military which is manned by samurai, instead of ninja. When the Fourth Shinobi World War began, the Land of Iron joined the Shinobi Alliance. It is located among three mountains called the Three Wolves. The Kage Summit took place in the Land of Iron due to its security and neutrality, which it has prepared for by strengthening its guard. According to the Tsuchikage at the time, it has its own distinct culture, and there is "nothing fun about" meeting there.

No New Posts ⋅ the land of sky ⋅

The Land of the Sky was formed by ninja from several countries that could mold their Chakra to mist in order to fly. It is said that they fought in the Second Shinobi World War, and their hidden village was destroyed in the war by Konohagakure for challenging the Five Great Shinobi Countries, but the country itself survived. Their civilization appears to be fairly advanced, best demonstrated by their usage of highly advanced forms of aviation not seen elsewhere in the Five Great Shinobi Countries. They include fliers that use chakra to operate, kunai launchers that can fire rapidly along with the ability to drop bombs, and a flying contraption that can fire chakra lasers from the sky. The Sky ninja's base is a giant temple named Ancor Vantian, which is described as the "ultimate weapon of destruction".
